To add a project:
1. Duplicate a project card.
2. Duplicate a project modal.
3. Change the project-card_link's data-modal-open value (in the settings, under custom attributes).
4. Change the modal's data-modal value to match.
5. Edit content inside project-modal (you can see what layer in the navigator is hidden(display:none) . change it temporarily to flex to view and edit
Do not edit the modal script unless changing behavior.

To edit a project page do this:
1. First edit the card info this is separate from the pop up modal. Anything you add to the card won't show up on the modal.
2. select the project-card_link and go to the settings to see what project modal the card is connected to. In the attributes you will see a number. Than go to modals wrapper and count down to that number. so if you saw project 7, count down to project-modal 7. click on this modal and then check the settings to ensure its the same number in the attributes field. (its possible it was moved around. The connected modal will always have the same number in both the project card link and the project modal.

3.Once you have the selected project modal you want to open. Go to the style panel and add the combo class "is editing" you should see this pop up as an option once you start typing. This combo class will only open the modal that has this class, once you are done, simply remove the class. You can add and remove it to any of the modals to make changes and edits.

Make sure you have removed "is editing" before saving and publishing.

Seaside Energy Storage

Portland, OR, $11M

Mortenson Construction | Portland General Electric

Following our successful engagement on the Constable Energy Project, we provided design-assist support for another energy storage project. We provided cost estimates and supported development of various underground improvement options that addressed this project’s additional complexities from contaminated soils, liquifiable soils, drilled ground improvements, cement treated soils and the facility’s proximity to the Willamette River.

Our construction phase effort included excavation and grading efforts to support multiple different trades, including the concrete team, crane crews, boring of medium voltage feeds, site electricians and overhead transmission contractors. Our ground improvements included structural excavation for geopiers, grading for the concrete crews, and several thousand linear feet of electrical trenching. We worked in close coordination with the GC and our trade partners to schedule and sequence this work to maintain a streamlined flow for our teams and our trade partners.

High water tables and deep excavation needs were a particular challenge for this project. The C&W team managed a significant dewatering effort, leveraging dewatering wells, filtration of contaminated waters and other mitigation methods as we dug deeper,to overcome this complexity.

C&W also supported the public roadway re-construction of Time Oil Road and access easements. This project was completed complete on-budget and ahead of schedule.
